In this video, I explain how to meet the job creation criteria for the Innovator Founder visa.
The applicant’s business must have created either 10 jobs paying the National Minimum Wage (an equivalent of £16,225.20 pa [from April] at 30 hours per week) or 5 jobs paying at least £25,000 per year.
To count towards the number of jobs created, each worker must have been employed continuously for 12 months. Each worker must have worked an average of 30 hours per week (so 6 hours a day, for 5 days, Monday to Friday). If two or more workers work less than 30 hours per week, their hours can be combined to represent one worker to count towards the total.
